Albert Einstein was born in Ulm, Germany on March 14, 1879, to Pauline Koch and Herrmann Einstein. He grew up in Munich where his father was an engineer and a part-time salesman while his mother was a homemaker. Einstein belonged to a Jewish family, and because of the communal tension in the country, their family had to move from one place to other.

He completed his schooling from the Luitpold Gymnasium in Germany. Later, Einstein shifted to Switzerland with his family in where he completed his education. He died on 17 April 1955 due to the rupture of an abdominal aortic aneurysm.
