The duo rose to fame in 2006, through the song Ven Y Pegate and they also featured in Mas Flow: Los Benjamins hosted by Luny Tunes. In 2007, Arcángel left Baby Records filing a lawsuit against them for $1 million as the label was not releasing their tracks officially.
In 2007, Arcángel featured in the album Flow la Discoteka 2 by DJ Nelson. It was a compilation album to encourage young talents, and Arcángel was one among the artists. Arcangel’s song Chica Virtual from the album became an instant hit charting number 9 and 22 in the Billboard Latin Rythm Airplay and Billboard Hot Latin Track charts respectively.
