Don Francisco was born on 28 December 1940 in Talca, Chile. His parents were Erick Krentzberger and Anna Blumenfeld. His parents had escaped World War 11 from Chile and became German Jewish Refugees. His father worked as a tailor, while his mother was a singer. Growing up, his mother taught him a lot of singing, although he was never interested. His father as well taught him tailoring.
