Ryan Gary Raddon, better known as “Kaskade” was born in February 1971, in Chicago, Illinois. He grew up in Northbrook. He is the son of Lynda Toliver and Gerald “Gary” Hollis Raddon. He is the brother of film producer Rich Raddon.
He went to Glenbrook North High School. Following that, he went to Provo, Utah’s Brigham Young University. In there, he used to improve his DJ skills by working in a dorm room. Later, he attended the University of Utah and received a bachelor’s degree in communications. At that time, he was the co-owner of a record store known as ‘Mechanized’.
