Biography and Early Life
Vitaly Vladasovich Grachev was born on the 19th of February 1979 in Daugavpils, which was then in the Latvian SSR. He moved with his parents to Ukraine, where he was raised in Odessa. He showed an interest in music from a young age and taught himself to play the accordion at the age of five. He wrote his first song, “Rain in Tbilisi”, when he was six. He later said that he had composed at least 1,000 songs by the age of 12.
